For almost a year now, we’ve been closely monitoring COVID-19 news – every announcement is becoming harder to read and listen to.
This health crisis has a real impact on our family-owned hotel group as well as the entire global economy, and it is hitting winter sports resorts head on.
Following the latest French government announcements, we are clear about the evolution of the virus and understand the health issue we all face.
We are therefore aware that we will not be able to reopen our Alpine Houses in good conditions and with the service we usually provide.
The Chalet Hôtel de La Loze in Courchevel 1850 and its Appartements d’Exception as well as the Hotel AlpenRuitor in Meribel-Mottaret will remain closed this winter 20/21.
This is without a doubt, the biggest challenge we have faced since our creation more than 70 years ago. Nevertheless, we are convinced that together we will once again be able to promote the French Alps, this emblematic skiing destination in the world.
Despite everything, we currently have signs of encouragement, after 8 months of closure, our estancias Relais & Châteaux in Argentina have reopened their doors allowing our guests to live new experiences while respecting sanitary measures.
To adapt to the world in which we live, we consolidate our offer of apartments and villas. Yesterday in France and Brazil, today in Argentina, and tomorrow a new destination to discover…
We would like to thank our hosts, partners, suppliers and teams for their incredible support, encouragement and flexibility.
Our team based at the head office in Annecy is available to answer your questions, to refund or postpone your stay as provided in our general reservations conditions.
We hope to see you again very soon in one of our Houses around the world to share our dream together.
And all the teams of Maison Fenestraz
